L’Horizon Palm Springs, A Leading Hotel of the World, brings back the glamour of Hollywood’s golden age through its unique design esthetic by renowned designer Steve Hermann. The 1950’s gem served as a playground for Hollywood A-Lister’s and U. S. Presidents alike.

Now, redeveloped as a luxury resort, we boast true exclusivity nestled within intimate spaces on 3 acres of gorgeous manicured desert grounds.  Our 25 guestrooms are custom designed to emulate luxurious private residences with hand selected materials and finishes. The dramatic mountain backdrop frames the imaginatively designed landscapes to create a striking setting found only at L’Horizon Resort and Spa.

The Palm Springs Hotel. The name itself evokes timelessness. Tradition. The elegance of the original. Yet this is not the oldest hotel in America’s hottest resort destination, it is the newest. The Palm Springs Hotel was conceived by four elite Hollywood families, who had searched for the perfect, intimate vacation retreat, but couldn’t find it. So they did what creative and resourceful people do: They built it themselves.

The Palm Springs Hotel offers the ultimate Palm Springs boutique experience. The desert-modernist architecture, bold interior flair, and 21st century appointments like Apple TV evoke an unforgettable sense of storytelling and design. It’s a love of mid-century tradition infused with a new century passion. It’s for people who appreciate the unique, the artistic, the best. Like those who built it, it’s for people who work hard to have their play time count for something. This is where it counts.
