Susan Montgomery is a widely published writer who loves sharing her travels and experiences through upbeat, informative articles about fascinating destinations. While she has been writing and publishing throughout her career, her move from Wisconsin to Southern California almost ten years ago opened up many new opportunities for her work, which now focuses on food, wine and travel. In the last several years, she has posted more than 300 articles on her own website, Life-uncorked, and in many other publications.
Susan has a Master’s Degree in Journalism from Marquette University in Milwaukee. In her previous careers, she owned a publishing company, was a high school English teacher and college journalism professor, and worked in advertising and marketing. In addition, Susan wrote two biographies of artists published by the Museum of Wisconsin Art, and, with her husband, Todd, created a photography gift book, “What Really Matters Now,” published by Peter Pauper Press (White Plains, New York).
Susan is on the Board of Directors of the International Food Wine & Travel Writers Association. She has a special affection for Palm Springs and is very excited about exploring this inspiring town and sharing her experiences with others.
