The Tiki Hotel was just lovingly restored by new owners Tracy and Jerry Turco, but is still a glorious throwback to the 1960s. Originally built in 1961, the Turcos renovated and reopened this 11-room boutique hotel in 2021. There is Polynesian theming and tiki memorabilia throughout the property, with ukuleles in every room. Tracy carefully selected — and in some cases, designed — the wallpaper, bedding, and other style elements, and the bathrooms all have new tile in the showers and retro orange sinks. The Tiki Hotel also has an event space for intimate gatherings, with an attached bathroom, kitchen, and patio. Outside, the swimming pool is flanked by tiki statues and a bamboo bar, with a custom Damon Johnson mural right outside of the gift shop, which stocks everything from lipstick created by Tracy to skateboard decks.
